I think future DLC will add more daemons and not mortals. Certainly they should be included! But I hope new Daemons are also developed to keep things fresh. People keep insisting that post-launch, mortals need to take up the majority of the future DLC. That would have been really exciting, and people would have felt better about the roster reveal, even if it was still too short.Īdding popular mortals like Warriors definitely could have been PART of the answer.īut ALSO yes, I would welcome the inclusion of new Daemons! Especially moreso than a recolored Soul Grinder or a 6 year old Lord of Change or our 17th Horror Variant. I think Tzeench was the perfect opportunity for CA to add one or two brand new daemon models (made in collaboration with GW, of course) to make the roster a bit thicker and prove that making new daemons is the future of the game.
But I don't necessarily think mortals would be the answer. It leaves little room for tactical variety.
